Dalton Cook opens 2026 with runner-up in Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track
Dalton Cook made the trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) to compete in the 35th-annual Ice Bowl with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series.
Qualifying second-quickest in his group on Friday, Cook outdueled Jadon Frame for a heat race win and earned a front-row starting spot for Saturday's finale. Dalton fell in line and ran second to Sam Seawright in the $7,500 feature.
