Early wreck in Coors Light Fall Classic takes out Dalton Cook at Whynot
Joining a strong 48-car field at the famous House of Hook, Dalton Cook unloaded his New Point Lighting & Design No. 44D machine at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) for the 31st-annual Coors Light Fall Classic.
Picking up a heat race win on preliminary night, Cook started third in the $3,000-to-win show but hit the infield tractor tire while battling for position and wound up 13th. With too much damage sustained, Cook did not compete in the Saturday show.
