Dalton Cook Targets Two Titles in 2026

Successful 2025 Campaign Fuels Momentum Heading Into New Year

SALEM, Ala. (Jan. 21, 2026) — Dalton Cook is set to take on the most demanding schedule of his Late Model career in 2026, committing to a full-time campaign with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series while also pursuing a championship with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series.

The ambitious effort follows a breakout 2025 season in which Cook recorded four victories and multiple $8,000-plus paydays, highlighted by a $12,000 triumph with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Southern Raceway in late September. The year also marked a significant milestone for the Salem, Alabama native, as Cook earned his first-ever appearance in DirtonDirt’s national Top 25 rankings.

“Last year was a lot of fun,” Cook said. “Late Model racing continues to evolve, and it’s more important than ever to stay sharp. I feel like 2025 really showed where our program is at. I’ve been very comfortable in the Longhorn Chassis, and once that piece came together, everything else started to fall into place. The Ice Bowl kicked off our 2026 season, but I’m excited to get into the heart of the year.”

With more than a decade of Late Model experience, Cook has established himself as a consistent contender at both regional and touring events throughout the Southeast. His decision to pursue a full-time slate in 2026 reflects growing confidence in the team’s performance and long-term outlook.

“We’ve run a lot of races with the Hunt the Front over the last few years,” Cook said. “With the number of strong events they have in my region, it just makes sense to commit to the tour full-time. It’s going to take a lot with the travel we have planned, but I believe we have a great opportunity to contend at the top. We’re open to working with sponsors at any level and building partnerships that make sense for everyone involved. Anyone interested is welcome to reach out.”

During the 2025 season, Cook competed in 53 events across nine states, a number expected to grow in 2026 as additional marquee races are added to the schedule. The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series has already announced a robust 2026 calendar featuring 26 events at 17 tracks across six states, while the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series is slated to contest a 15-race schedule.

Once finalized, Cook’s complete 2026 schedule will be available at www.DaltonCook44d.com.
