Dalton Cook makes Eldora Speedway debut in 55th-annual World 100
Kicking off the crown jewel weekend with twin $12,000-to-win preliminary nights, Dalton Cook joined a field of over 100 Super Late Models for his first-career visit to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 55th-running of the World 100.
Cook just missed Thursday's preliminary feature with a ninth-place finish in his shootout before he was able to find a spot in Friday's second prelim race. Dalton started 25th in the 25-lapper and finished 23rd. On Saturday, Cook made a good attempt to get a transfer spot in his heat race, but ultimately came up short of making the 100-lap, $72,000-to-win finale.
